We’re excited to share that Fabrix Managing Partner Clive Nichol will be amongst the inaugural cohort of the Van Leer Foundation Fellowship.
This incredible interdisciplinary group of leaders have been brought together from across the globe, by the pioneering Dutch organisation, to explore what lies at the intersection between their respective work and the wellbeing of babies, toddlers and their caregivers.
As a Van Leer Fellow, Clive will be exploring how to impact the ways in which people who shape the built environment think about design, specifically from the perspective of early childhood and parenthood.
For Fabrix this is an exciting opportunity to broaden our perspective, knowledge and sense of purpose, through a critical area of focus that is often overlooked in our urban environments.

A real estate developer has the ability to shape the physical world we live in and create caring environments for children and their caregivers.
The Fellowship journey – looking at the world through the eyes of babies, toddlers and caregivers – will enable the exploration of several aspects of urban design: from aesthetics that sparks joy and imagination in young children to functional design that makes life easier for their parents.
