A new exhibition, Life Lines, by multi-disciplinary UK artist LUAP, has opened at The Bottle Factory, in aid of leading mental heath charity Mind.
Three years in the making, the powerful new works on show explore the fragility of the human state of mind. Sitters are represented through a fractured lens, revealing the infinitely multifaceted nature of personality.
Curated by Guerin Projects, large-scale portrait paintings and photographs reflect the artist’s latest expressive, deconstructed style – with his signature Pink Bear recurring as a reassuring silent guardian.
The exhibition, supported by Nikon, is the latest in a series of activations at The Bottle Factory – our home for makers, creatives and urban industry stalwarts in a restored Victorian warehouse, tucked away off the Old Kent Road.
“Exploring mental health issues through art is powerful and helps us to understand both our own experiences, and those of others. We want to give a big thank you to LUAP for supporting Mind.”
