It was a big night – our 4.7 acre ultra-urban industrial and logistics scheme Bromley-by-Bow Industrial Park  received unanimous approval from LB Tower Hamlets.

The transformational project will regenerate one of the most centrally-located, undeveloped large-scale Strategic Industrial Locations in London, providing 135,000 sq ft of best-in-class, future-proofed, sustainable industrial space, ideally positioned for access to the City, Canary Wharf and east London.

Our vision was to set a new standard for how vital urban logistics can be sensitively integrated within the urban fabric and be a positive neighbour to both adjacent industrial estates and residential communities.

Designed by architects Haworth Tompkins, the ‘super-prime industrial’ design will promote ultra-urban industrial uses, supported by an innovative Circular Economy Hub and 11,851 sq ft of affordable workspace, across two terraces of high quality new buildings, targeted to achieve EPC A and BREEAM Excellent.

It’s a scheme we’re extremely proud of and a great result for the Fabrix team – extending our 100% track-record of success at planning.

Now to delivery and bringing it forward as an exemplar of our focus on genuinely innovative development across workspace, urban industry and residential-led regeneration.

“Bromley-by-Bow Industrial Park is an exceptional project that maximises the economic and social potential of a hugely significant industrial site ideally positioned in relation to central London. Fabrix has worked hard to assemble this formerly fragmented site so that we are able to deliver at the scale and quality of space that will meet the needs of advanced industrial occupiers in this prime location.

We’re hugely proud of the attention to detail that has gone into the proposed masterplan and buildings to make this a unique ultra-urban prospect for industrial occupiers.”
