The acquisition in Q4 2017 of The Soho Portfolio consisted of seven freehold mixed-use assets located on Frith Street (x3), Dean Street, Romilly Street, Great Chapel Street and Peter Street. Soho has evolved to become one of the cultural hotspots of the UK. Its historic association with London’s fashion and entertainment culture has led to the area becoming a hub of creative and media-based industries.
On acquisition the assets were highly reversionary and historically undermanaged which presented an opportunity to implement a number of strategic asset management initiatives including a refurbishment of 20 Great Chapel Street, agreeing outstanding rent reviews, and restructuring existing leases across the portfolio.
