Marlborough Sports Garden

On Saturday 26th September, Red Cross Garden, Marlborough Sports Garden and Crossbones Graveyard played host to the Bankside Open Spaces Festival – with live music,  dance, sports and games for children and young people, street food, and much, much more! Open spaces are the perfect safe, open environment for people to come back together again and it was great to get together to celebrate the strength and resilience of our community.

Fabrix was delighted to be there in support of BOST, and to facilitate the free plant-potting and give-away event, unsurprisingly proving to be one of the biggest hits of the day! We were also pleased to be able to engage with Southwark locals and talk to them about our Roots in the Sky project.

Amongst the many sports activities, live music and delicious street food from Ethiopian to Greek souvlaki, it was a great day in support of the community and all it has to offer, both now and in the near future!

A free festival for the community in SE1
