School-Home Support’s vision is that every child has the support they need to thrive and achieve: they do whatever it takes to get children in school and ready to learn. School-Home Support exists to support families holistically, to improve children’s wellbeing, attendance, engagement, and attainment. When children are in school and ready to learn, they benefit from the educational opportunities available to them, and are able to reach their potential and thrive.

In 2019/2020, School-Home Support worked with over 8000 vulnerable children, young people, and families. With this support these individuals were able to overcome barriers to education. Practitioners can also access the School-Home Support Welfare Fund, allowing them to provide essential items to families in times of desperate need. For example, funding a washing machine to ensure children have clean clothes for school.

Our donation to School-Home Support will allow them to continue to support some of the most vulnerable and disadvantaged families in our communities during a particularly difficult last 2 years.
