We were thrilled to be able to gift space at The Billiard Factory to the incredible Solace Women’s Aid charity as the nerve-centre for their annual Christmas Gift Drive.

Solace supports over 30,000 women and children each year affected by gender-based violence and abuse, offering vital services from advice and support, through to safe accommodation in 22 refuges located across the country.

Their annual Christmas Gift Drive helps make sure that Christmas remains a magical and special time for women and children who have escaped an abuser – collecting and distributing many thousands of gift donations during the festive season.

As well as gifting the space, the Fabrix team spent a day working directly with the Solace team, sorting gift packages and hearing more about the growing and critical need for Solace’s services as the cost of living crisis hits. The team ended the day visiting a Solace refuge and decorating the common spaces with some donated Christmas cheer.
