It was an impressive line-up of speakers at DLA Piper‘s fifth annual International Real Estate Summit – the first to take place in person post-pandemic. And an equally impressive turn-out of some 400 guests despite a double whammy of train and teacher strikes.
Topics throughout the day covered the most pressing issues affecting real estate in Europe and beyond, with market-leading insight into the state of the market, investment in a high price debt environment, the race to net zero and geopolitical impacts.
Fabrix Director of Impact Debbie Whitfield shared our approach to, and learnings on, Impact Investing on a panel exploring how best to marry social and financial returns against a backdrop of rising inflation and interest rates. The lively discussion with fellow panellists Vivienne King (The Good Economy), Jack Wardle (Undivided Ventures) and Johnny Sandelson was expertly chaired by DLA Piper‘s Paul Jayson.
“A hugely important topic that has, quite rightly, moved from the fringes to centre stage”
