We’re excited to have three Fabrix projects shortlisted for the prestigious Pineapple Awards for placemaking – the only awards recognising projects for their social and environmental impact.
Our changemaker campus in Berlin, Atelier Gardens, is up for International Future Place. The London Design Festival installation Permanent Temporary, which took over The Bottle Factory in 2022, for Activation. And our planned relocation of an RHS Chelsea Flower Show Gold Medal-winning garden to Southwark, Roots in the Sky Garden at Price’s Street, for Future Public Realm.
The judging process is rigorous and all shortlisted projects We had the pleasure of presenting all three truly collaborative projects as part of the Festival of Pineapples – a week of online judging, live-streamed and available for all to view as an amazing survey of work in urban regeneration across the UK and beyond.
Winners will be announced on the 23 May.
The Pineapples are unique in seeking to celebrate great places, recognising projects that make a positive social, environmental and economic impact.
