We were really pleased to share our thinking on the impact of urban spaces on the future of agriculture with Courier Magazine.
The article explores innovations emerging across the industry as the standard model of farming becomes increasingly unsustainable, from farmers selling direct to the public to exploring new more creative uses for land.
Reprioritising nature in our cities has always been one of our guiding principles. At Atelier Gardens in Berlin we are rewilding a world-class film campus, introducing wildlife, prioritising the soil and embracing small agriculture businesses as tenants.
And our Roots in the Sky development in Southwark draws on many of the ideas we’ve tested in Berlin, incorporating London’s first urban forest, complete with edible plants and community growing.
We all have a responsibility to put nature first.
