On The Cut
Fabrix rolled up the industrial shutters to welcome Poppy Ajudha to ‘On The Cut’, as she prepared for the release of her debut album with the electro-infused track “London’s Burning“.
Poppy’s vocals soar over the electronic soundscape that spills with choppy percussion and subtle effects, all pieced together by producer Joel Compass.
This is just a brief glimpse into the world that Poppy is preparing to share in her debut album The Power In Us, which is said to explore topics like women’s rights, colonial structures, and more.
“This album is made up of all the things swimming in my mind, from women’s rights, to the right to cross borders, to the power of young people to inspire and be unafraid to rock the boat in the name of progress.”
